Ozark Henry

Since David Bowie praised Ozark Henry’s debut album in 1996 as one of his favorites, the Belgian artist has very successfully produced music ranging from avant-garde electronica to pop and classical music. Collaborating with legendary artists like Jah Wobble, Jackie Liebezeit, Martin Glover, Martina Topley Bird and Toots Thielemans - to mention a few - and renowned orchestras like the Metropool Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Belgium. His work gets applauded and recognised internationally, and has been gold and platinum rewarded numerous times.

Ozark Henry is an artist with synesthesia and his universe is defined by a blending of craft with experiment, audio with visual, and heritage with technology.

TEDx San Francisco and Google New York invited him to talk about his groundbreaking work in 3D immersive sound, and AES and NYU invited him to perform on the Holodeck with his pioneering immersive performance project ‘August Parker’.

Ozark Henry is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador against human trafficking, working together with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and local NGO’s to raise awareness about this modern day form of slavery and to support the Blue Heart Campaign and the Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking.
